First - I have decided to renovate the bathroom and this means this suite will not be ready for Feb 1. But probably mid-Feb. I'm guessing Feb 15 or so? Anyway, here's my ad....

Huge basement suite of a big house walking distance to NAIT. Also walking distance to Kingsway mall, Superstore, and the Royal Alex hospital. MacEwan university is also not too far. The neighborhood is quiet and well established and offers nearby restaurants, a farmers market, and other attractions.

The eat-in style kitchen has tons of cupboard space and room to set your table without having to eat your meals in the living room. Bedroom is average size, but does have windows and a closet. Living room is huge.

Landlord is friendly and easy going. Looking for mature non-partying type tenants. House is strictly NON-SMOKING! I will consider small and QUIET pets, and if accepted there is a non-refundable $250 pet fee.

Tenants will be expected to shovel some snow in the winter.

Utility costs are extra (not included in rent) but are shared with main floor tenants.

If you have read this far I guess you're maybe interested. Please reply with a few facts such as when are you looking to begin renting? Who all would be living here, and are you smokers? Any kids? Pets? How long are you wishing to rent for? What do you do for work?

Note also that my usual rental method is to start with a short two or three month lease and if everything is working well for both of us then we can sign a longer term lease. This approach is fair and gives both parties the opportunity to politely walk away after a short trial period if either party wishes.
